It’s quite uneasy to hear that some actress quitted their careers when it was at the peak.
Although, it is quite uneasy to hear but at the same time when a person thinks to quit careers for mental peace and following spirituality is quite good to hear. Here below is the list of some of the former actresses who thought to quit their Bollywood career to follow spiritual path.
1. Sana Khan
Recently, this gorgeous actress announced that she is leaving Bollywood industry and stated that no one should call her in Bollywood related parties or function. Indeed some time before she was the talk of the town.
Recently she married to Maulana Anas Sayied, who is also a Surat based business man and was posting adorable pictures with hubby. Sana revealed that she was highly inspired by the teachings of Islam. So therefore, she took a decision to quit Bollywood industry.
2. Zaira Waseem
Undoubtably, Zaira was at the peak of her career when she announced her decision to quit Bollywood industry. In her instagram post Zaira revealed that she was not happy from inside. She said it makes her unhappy in this line of work in the film industry.
This gorgeous actress is Dangal fame actress. Currently, she is active on her social media handles but not in Bollywood industry.
3. Anu Aggarwal
This gorgeous actress got fame from her role in the blockbuster romantic movie Aashiqui. Although, her bollywood career was short lived as suffered a major road accident.
After her close call, she decided to quit Bollywood industry and follow her spiritual calling. Anu also said in one of her interviews “To feel strong, to walk amongst humans with a tremendous feeling of confidence and superiority is not at all wrong”.

4. Sofia Hayat
Unquestionably, she is an another actress who quit Bollywood industry. In 2016, she announced that she will change her ‘sexy image’ to embrace spirituality.
Although, Sofia decided to become a nun and she even named herself as Gaia Sofia Mother. Within a couple of months, she returned to her glamorous self. And said I am still mother Sofia and still spiritual.
5. Mamta Kulkarni
The super hit 90’s actress, has worked with all the Khans in the industry. Although her career saw an abrupt end when her name got embroiled in some racket.
However, after her film ‘Kabhi Tum kabhi hum’, she left the industry to follow the spiritual path and religion. She has starred in commercial successful Hindi films such as Aashiq Awara, Waqt Hamara Hai, Krantiveer, Karan Arjun, Sabse Bada Khiladi, Andolan, Baazi, China Gate and many more.
6. Barkha Madan
Undoubtably, after enjoying her time in the Bollywood industry as a successful model, actress, and film producer, shw decided to quit it. She is also appeared in several Punjabi films and hindi films.
Of course, In November 2012, she set her mind to become a Buddhist nun after being an avid follower of Dalai Lama for many years. She later stated that it was the most important and right decision she has ever made in her life.
