“He is a Big Shot Film Producer. But he only launches star kids. Introducing #RANA as ‘The Nepoking’ in #SuicideorMurder” says the instragram handle of VSG Productions.

The poster above features model Rana, who is set to play the role of ‘Nepoking’ in the Bollywood and needless to say, he looks exactly like Karan Johar, who is referred to as the flagbearer of Nepotism. Previously on 20th July, producer Vijay Shekhar Gupta had released another poster of the same The poster above features Model Rana, who is set to play the role of ‘Nepoking’ the film, which featured Tiktok sensation Sachin Tiwari, the doppelganger of Sushant Singh Rajput.

The caption said, “A boy from small town became a Shining Star in the film industry. This is his journey. Introducing Sachin Tiwari as ‘The Outsider’.”

And since then, this movie has been receiving huge backlash from the fans of the late actor. They are claiming it as an insensitive and cheap publicity stunt to mint money from the controversies arising out of the sudden and unfortunate demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. However, the makers of the film have dismissed the claims by saying that the movie is not a biopic of the actor, but will narrate the story of 9-10 people who have had the same fate as Sushant.

Shamik Maulik, the director of the movie, told media that this film is about how young men and women from small towns come to Mumbai with a lot of dreams and afterwards are stopped by the forces on the top, who don’t want to lose their positions and control over the industry. The director further said that these youngsters are not aware of the hindrances in their path and the 3-hour long film will address the same issue.

The casting of the movie is still going on and the script is also being worked upon as of now. The movie is expected to go on floors in September and will be shot for around 50 days in Mumbai and Punjab. The makers hope to release the film by December this year or January next year.

It is to be noted here that the actor passed away only 50 days ago and the makers have come so far in producing the movie. The question here arises is- Weren’t the makers aware of the prevailing nepotism and the working of Bollywood Mafia in the film industry prior to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death? If yes, then why didn’t they raise their voices on suicide cases of actresses Divya Bharti or Jiah Khan?

And if they weren’t aware of this, then why do such a haste in making of this movie at such a sensitive time? However Gupta also says “Because of the Bollywood mafia and underworld, we are creating a new Hindi film industry in Noida, and the annoumcement will be made soon.”

Lets wait for the new announcement to be made.
