As we all know Ramayan is making history as it has become the most-watched series in India. The series was telecasted again after three decades and the whole India went berserk about it. And now’s it’s been playing everywhere in India.
The show also got the highest rating for a Hindi GEC show since 2015 and according to a report by Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) it has garnered 170 million viewers in four shows over the last weekend.
Recently, the Ramayan team made their fans’ quarantine a nostalgic when actor Dipika Chiklia who is also playing Seeta in the show shared a rare photo of Ramayan loft which has the entire crew and cast in it. From directors to cameramen it had everyone in it. Ramanand Sagar, the creator of the show is in the center of the picture.
‘Ram’ Arun Govil, ‘Hanuman’ Dara Singh, and the actors who play Lakshman, Sumitra, Kaushalya, Kaikeyi, Urmila, Jamvant etc are also a part of the photo.

Dipika also got emotional about the cast member who have died in the last 30 years. “Only wen we look back do we know what all we have left behind ….so many of the cast no more …RIP to them all,” she wrote.
Talking in an interview chiklia said that Ramayan changed her life forever.
“ Ramayan has been very differently. It has been made with all our hearts. Ramanand Sagar always said, ‘I’ve not made this Ramayan: Yeh upar se bann ke aayi hai.’ I also feel possibility there is that magic to it.’ She said.
She further went on to say ‘I have lived with the image of Sita in my mind for the last 33 years. So I don’t feel particularly different about it.”
