Coronavirus have taken the world by storm and it is considered as the biggest pandemic the world has ever seen. The whole world is struggling to find a cure with thousands of lives lost every day. From airlines to football everything has been stopped, football was played even in the time of world war but Corona is something else. Started from China now it has affected almost every country on the planet.
China
China as the origin on the virus had the most difficult time battling the life-taking disease. With almost 82 thousand cases China lost more than 3000 deaths because of Corona.
It was the city of Wuhan which first reported Corona but it spread like fire in the whole country. It’s been 50 days since the people are confined to their homes only.
But thanks for their efficient Labor China it was a matter of days for China to build a hospital and their people were human enough to obey the orders of Isolation and that’s how the line on the graph is now decreasing.
The author, who requested anonymity out of fear of reprisals for speaking critically of the Chinese government, described an atmosphere of chaos and desperation: “Perhaps it is true that only China can build a hospital in 10 days, only China can mobilize so many people to devote themselves to the anti-epidemic agenda, only China can lock down a city with millions of people at lightning speed.”
Italy
Italy is the worst affected country if we calculate cases according to the population. Almost 70 thousand cases have been reported so far and it has suffered almost 7000 total deaths, most by any country. With almost 113 people dead per million.
Italy was a little late to lock down the country but with Corona, you cannot afford to be a second late. All sorts of people gatherings have been stopped, offices, arenas everything is closed and Prime Minister Gisueppe Conte has declared Italy as ‘Red Zone.’
Deputy Economy Minister Laura Castelli said that payments on mortgages will be suspended nationally due to the outbreak.
U.S.A
The United States is the third most affected country in the world with almost 54,000 cases reported but they had better planning battling the pandemic and they’ve lost 695 lives so far with only 2 deaths per million.
U.S has restricted travelers from entering the U.S and they’ve taken very strict measures against the illness and maybe that is the reason why they’ve been able to cope up with the illness far better than other countries.
President Donald Trump that he will ask Congress to pass a payroll tax cut and relief for hourly wage earners, in order to assist workers who may be squeezed financially by the coronavirus outbreak.
“We are going to take care of and have been taking care of the American public and the American economy,” Trump said.
Spain
Spain is one of the worst affected nations by the pandemic. With almost 40 thousand cases and three thousand deaths, it has recorded 60 million deaths per million.
While cases have been mostly concentrated in Madrid, Catalonia and the Basque Country, infection numbers are growing in other regions which is the thing to worry not only for Spain but for the whole world.
The military is helping transport patients, to ease the burden on hospitals where doctors and nurses are worked to exhaustion.
The country is in the state of lockdown and the Prime Minister has stated that he will ask the parliament to approve a further extension to lockdown measures until April 11 and for more, if the country fails to battle the virus.
