IN 2011, India had the best team ever, and that is why they ended their 28-year wait of the World Cup. They thrashed every single team at their home and gave the Sachin what he deserved for his services. MS Dhoni & Co. were untouchables throughout the tournament. Today we’ll about winning eleven of the final, where they are now.
Virender Sehwag
There is no change in Sehwag’s life, first, he was bashing everyone on the field now he’s doing the same off the field on his Twitter and in the commentary. He has started his school ‘Sehwag International School’ where he trains young boys with a passion for cricket.
Sachin Tendulkar
Sachin Tendulkar was the biggest name in the history of Cricket, and he got what he deserved, a world cup medal on his shirt before his retirement.

Gautam Gambhir
Gautam Gambhir was the primary reason why India lifted that world Cup trophy; he stood firm when the team fell around him, just like the 2007 T20 World Cup final.
After the world cup, Gambhir struggled to maintain his place in the team, and he announced his retirement in 2018. But then he started his innings in politics, and he got elected as Lok Sabha Member of Parliament from Delhi.
Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli won the world cup, played with his idol, and then went on to become the best player in the world, which he is till now, and nobody is even closer to him. The run machine has to weakness, and no bowler has a cure for him. He is the number one batsman in the world, and he is also captaining his country as well.
MS Dhoni
The Ranchi born boy achieved every feat with the Indian team under his captaincy, from winning the T20 World to making them no.1 in both in ODI’s and Tests to winning the ICC Champions Trophy and then ending the 28 year World Cup drought. He was the best captain in the history of cricket.

Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj Singh was the best performer in the world cup, but things didn’t go well for him after the mega event. He was diagnosed with rare cancer, which spread into the lungs, but he was a fighter by birth, and he recovered from it, and he made his comeback in cricket as well.
He retired from cricket in 2019 and now focusses on Yuvraj Singh foundation and Cancer organization, ‘YouWeCan.’
Suresh Raina
Suresh Raina was tipped to be the next big thing for India, but his career saw a downfall after 2016, and he is unlikely to make a comeback in team India. He plays IPL for Chennai Super Kings and playing domestic cricket to make his comeback in the team.
Zaheer Khan
Zaheer Khan was the joint top wicket-taker of the tournament. He retired in 2015 and started his spell in the fitness industry with his brainchild venture ProSport Fitness. He now owns two centers in Mumbai, and he also owns a couple of restaurants in Pune as well.
Sreesanth
Despite winning two world cup trophies with team India, Sreesanth had the worst career end among all. The Kerala born boy was involved in match-fixing during the 2013 IPL scandal and was sentenced to a lifetime ban. He appeared on the Big Boss in the 2018 addition as well, where he ended up as the runner-up.
Harbhajan Singh
Bhajji went on to win two world cups just like Sreesanth, but the end was different. He went on to play for both his country and IPL franchise; he’s doing commentary and has been hosting few reality shows on television as well.
Munaf Patel
Munaf Patel played an essential part in the world cup, but unfortunately, his days were numbered after the world cup. He was last seen in IPL 2017, but he is missing since then.
