Rani Mukherjee is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi films. She made her screen debut with a parallel lead role in Biyer Phool (1996). A Bengali Film directed by her father Ram Mukherjee .
Her first leading role was that of a rape victim in the 1996 social drama Raja Ki Ayegi Barat. Undoubtedly, for which she won a special jury trophy at the Screen Awards. In 1998 she received wider recognition for her role. Alongside Aamir Khan in the action film Ghulam.
Later that year, her breakthrough role as the romantic interest of Shah Rukh Khan’s character in the romantic drama. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai earned Mukerji her first Filmfare Award in the Best Supporting category.
She followed this initial success by portraying the leading lady in several films, including Hello Brother (1999) and Nayak: The Real Hero (2001). None of which helped propel her career forward.
1. Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan and Rani Mukherjee were pair for film. “Ghulam” in 1998 for the first time. It was their sensuous chemistry that they both were rumor to be in a relationship.
As per report, during this time Aamir Khan’s first marriage with Reena was going through a tough time. And came into the limelight.
Rani Mukherjee worked with Aamir Khan in the movie Ghulam when he was an established actor and she was struggling. Although, Rani and Aamir never made it public. And always maintained friendly relationships.

This affair came in the scene after two actors worked in Hadh Kar Di Aapne in 2000. Married Govinda was rumor to be in love with Rani Mukherjee.
As per report, Govinda once spot in Rani’s room in a night dress, when a journalist had to visit Rani Mukherjee at her place.

Rani Mukherjee who constantly denied her relationship with Aditya Chopra soon got marry him. They got married on 21 April 2014. They married at a destination wedding in Italy.
It was Aditya Chopra’s second marriage. He was earlier married to Payal Khanna and later divorced her in 2009.
Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukherjee are blessed with a daughter. And Whom they named Adira Chopra.
